This test is a physician-ordered laboratory-developed test and is regulated under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA). The DermTech laboratory, which developed and validated this test, is qualified to perform high-complexity testing in accordance with CLIA standards, is accredited by the Joint Commission, and is permitted by the New York State Department of Health. False positive and false negative results may occur. Samples of insufficient quantity or quality may not produce a result.

DermTech takes patient safety and the quality of laboratory services very seriously. If you have a patient safety or quality concern related to the DermTech Clinical Laboratory, we encourage you to share this concern directly with laboratory leadership by calling (858) 450-4222, or by submitting an email to operations@dermtech.com. 

The DermTech Clinical Laboratory is accredited by The Joint Commission. In addition to submitting your patient safety or quality concerns directly to DermTech leadership, you may also report a patient safety concern or file a complaint through The Joint Commission website:
