This test is a physician-ordered laboratory-developed test and is regulated under the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA). The DermTech 2.0 laboratory, which developed and validated this test, is qualified to perform high-complexity testing in accordance with CLIA standards, is accredited by the Joint Commission, and is permitted by the New York State Department of Health. False positive and false negative results may occur. Samples of insufficient quantity or quality may not produce a result.
